February

These are all from February. Although the baby horse was born on the 31st of January.
These two are helping in the remodel. We had to wear face masks while sanding, because the dust was really thick. We updated the electrical including the outlets, thermostat and heater.
Our two little helpers. They wanted to be involved so we let them have the hammers and bang on the frame for the door, which Kellen had to re-frame so that a regular door would fit. The door before was really short.

Mason got caught playing in the used motor oil again. Luckily the spread of it wasn't as bad as before. Before, it was the whole front, all the sleeves, some on the hood which is not attached to the coat in this photo, and then all over the sweat pants he was wearing. In this one the nose covered is what made it look so funny and I thought it was funny, THIS time.

Here is the new baby horse. We have decided to call her Bells. She was born on the 31st of January, a Monday and the warmest day of that week. It was barely into the positives. That was the week of mostly -20s each night. We kept her and Lucy (her mom) in a shed with a heat lamp on and the door closed at night. We put this coat on as well. She kept it on for about that first week then got it off and would not leave it on after that.

Another picture of Bells and Lucy.

January

I am having some trouble so I will have to do the rest later today.
the little Princess. She got this outfit for Christmas and has worn it about every other day. i love Mason's jammies.
Mason is trying really hard to be the chef around here. He even figured out a tempoary hat.

Played hard and now is sleeping. This is at Grandma Woodland's house.

November and December

This picture is so cute. She is so girly.
Our family photo we sent out at Christmas time.

Mason ears are so big Kellen put Juliet's tea cups on them. We all got a good laugh from it.

This is after Christmas we went with Kellen's family up to the cabin in Island Park for a few days. My niece's birthday happened while we were there so this is Mason eating his piece of the cake. He sure makes it look good.

Christmas Eve we did a progressive meal day thing. We are currently at Jake and Laura's. Jenny and Chad have this little snow machine. Halee (their daughter) was a good sport and took both our kids for rides on it. The good thing about it was that if it got in snow that was more than about two inches in got stuck so the kids were limited to the driveway.

Juliet with Halee. Both my kids loved that thing, but we didn't feel like they were old enough to drive it by themselves.

Mason playing on the piano at Grandma's house.

The ward Christmas party. Santa came. The kids weren't afraid of him. We all laughed because we knew that santa was actually Kellen's brother, Nick. So all the nieces and nephews had looks of concentration on their faces trying to figure out who that voice belonged to, because they knew that voice.

Playing in the laundry basket. now they don't both fit in it anymore.

Mason loves to wear hats mostly because he wants to mimic his daddy who is almost always wearing a hat.

Kellen took this picture with his phone.

We were all sitting in the office with a nice fire going. Kellen and I had just gotten our new phones and were trying to figure them all out.

Random Pictures from September and October

I cut my hair in September and here is a picture. My hair ends right at my shoulder.
I have been lazy and so here it is a bunch of pictures that will help to catch you up to what we are doing or just some great pictures I couldn't help giggle when I look at them.
Mason and Juliet were on the table getting at the crackers that had been left there.

A hard earned snack. We had just moved the cattle up to this point and were taking a break so the trailers coule be brought to where we were. The buckskin in the background is my horse Lucy.

The kids dressed up as Pooh Bear and Tigger for Halloween. They got these baskets that were all hairy and were basically monsters. We went to the Elementry's trunk or treat and then to Grandma Reynolds'.

I raked up all the leaves into this huge pile from the front yard. We played in them for a few hours and then took them over to a hole we had dug and burned them all away.

Thursdays (a thrift type store here) was giving away these glasses to everybody for Halloween. The kids looked great in them.

Mason's ears were to floppy to hold the glasses on.

We went camping the beginning of October. Mostly because we wantedto go in our new camper (to us) and test everything out before winter.
We rode our Horses each day up to a different lake.It was kind of nice to go by ourselves because we could do what we wanted when we wanted.

Some from August

Okay here is some from August. There are a lot because i got a new picture card and am now able to take a whole lot more pictures on the higher resolution than I could before. This is the camping trip with Kellen's brothers and sisters and parents. We rode up to a lake each day. This one of Jet (who actually smiled for the camera) is at Baptie (I can't spell it today)
mason driving home from the camping trip. He was so excited. Juliet was asleep as soon as we got on the road, but not Mason he was giggling and laughing the whole time.

I just think this too funny not to share. What balance, right! I had set up a little pool on an epecially hot day and let the kids play in it. Jet got into the water, but Mason only wanted to spalsh from the side. he still got as wet as Juliet so it was okay because they both got cooled off.

My hubby is so sweet. He came in from being outside working on something, I can't remember now and needed a break so he helped me snap the green beans from our garden.

Crazy hair girl on the loose. She wanted me to comb her hair, but not put a pony in or wet it down, so I did and this is the result. a fro head. The next day she let me really fix her hair.

Catch up of July

Okay so I have been a bad blogger. I'll admit it, I am mostly updating because my sister did her weekly email in just directing everyone to her blog because she had updated and I decided I would maybe do the same thing. These are from July. Kellen getting ready to wally behind the boat at Lake Powell. I was actually suprised when he said he would like to try it again. He told me afterward that he thinks he finally understands why it is such a thrill to ski behind the boat.
This is before we dropped the kids off so we could go to Powell. We were ahead of schedule and so we drove up to see where the Teton Dam broke. I had only seen it once before and that was on the way home from Girl's Camp and so before I had all of my Geology schooling. So it was really cool for me to go there and tell Kellen about it.

I just thought this picture was funny. She broke the clasp on that necklace (which I have had since i was little) so I turned it into a stretchy one (works much better) she just looks like a rock star.

Mason and Kellen on the 4th of July waiting for the fireworks to start. They lit the mountain on fire, but I guess they do it about every year and so they were prepared. It was a really good show. We went to the one in Arco this year.

I love this picture. Jet is determined to fish. She is scared of fish. and she won't let us help her to cast her line. so we tied a bobber to the end of her line and let her pretend her was fishing. This is at Ironbog Lake We rode up on the horses and had lunch here as well. It was a fun, but cooler day.

Some pictures of May

Kellen's youngest brother, Brant is in High school rodeo and so we are getting all dressed up to go to one of the performances.
Mason wasn't too sure about his hat, but he had fun playing with Juliet.

Juliet showing me her teeth. She wouldn't smile and so I told her to show me her teeth.

Talking to her daddy on the phone. She'll come up too me holding the lock of hair that hangs over her ear out of the way so she can listen to the speaker.

My Mason man. Happy as can be because he has a spoon to play with.
