On and On

I finally get a good picture of Jet's two bottom teeth and she has started cutting her top teeth.

Attack of the laptop. She sure is a fast one. Luckily the camera was also in close grabbing distance. Excellent!!
Tubby Time!!!!!
The Reynolds smile shows through.

This is the first time that Jet stood up in her crib. She was pretty excited with this newfound ability and that mommy was coming into her room to save her from being trapped in her crib.

In the Snow

Hello one and all. This last weekend Kellen and i went out to Arco in prepartaion to bring the cows out of the hills. We arrived Friday morning to realie all of Kellen's family were off doing other stuff and no one knew we were coming. Kellen dropped that ball. Anyway so then Kellen has to do everything by himself because there is no one for me to leave Jet inside with. Kellen's parents house is really cold. I was glad that we had many pairs of clothes for the chasing cows part because we ended up using all of them. We were to meet the Kellys up in the hills above Firth, ID at 8 AM We got there in good time and had to sit and wait for the whole crew to show up. There were two 4wheelers, 5 horses, and a truck. Since Jet had come with us, Her and I had to go in the truck along with Pam Kelly. The morning was cool, chilly weather, but we knew it could get worse so each person on a horse, tied to the saddle a poncho and coveralls in case the weather got bad suddenly, which it ahs been known to do. An example being the first year I went ( it rained, snowed, Sleeted, and hailed on us) WE had the whole back seat of the truack filled with changes of clothes and blankets. We were well prepared. The day went well the majority of the cows were all together near where we bunch them together to take them down. They knew it was time because of the snow. It luckily snowed lightly the majority of the day and as we bunched the cows started to come down. I was driving the truck and Melina was riding Pam had taken her horse because she was frozen through. I knew the snow really starting to come down was bad for the truck. So we hurried down ahead of the herd to make sure the truck didn't get stuck. It was really perfect timing because just as we got to the bottom the snow went into a blizzard. Melina and I talked and waited. They brought them down and Dan and Melina switched places. Dan and I went down to get the corals and gates ready. After we got the cows sorted. We realized that with the snow the semi that was coming was not going to be able to back up to the chute. So we made two trips with 3 trailers to take the cows down to a coral that the truck could get to. It was a smart move because as we unloaded the last trailer it started to rain, and that was the definite that the truck wouldn't be able to back up to the old coral. Jet really likes Dan's brother Preston. He watched her for a while in the truck while I helped. then we all headed home and to bed. That was my exciting weekend. Hope you enjoyed reading about it.

Doesn't this picture just remind you of Lake Powell and how cold the water is getting. From the geologist's point of view this is more than awe inspiring. It is just awesome what erosion can do to rock and what we get to see as a result of millions of years of erosion. Gets you to thinking doesn't it, if not you can just enjoy looking at the picture.

So Excited

So my sister had her baby. It was a girl and when Jason called me to let me know that she had arrived and all those little details that women like to know. Afterward i hung up and told Juliet that her cousin and her partner in crime had arrived. She was so excited and happy. It was really quite amazing. Like she knew that her cousin had come. She was just way overly happy, more than usual that whole day. I visited Camille in the hospital and she looked really good for a third time mommy. I held the newst little one in the Family and she is a cute little thing and so little and light. I guess i am just used to Juliet and her being a chunk from day one it seems. That's all I got right now so be grateful I wrote this much. HEHE
