Some pictures of May

Kellen's youngest brother, Brant is in High school rodeo and so we are getting all dressed up to go to one of the performances.
Mason wasn't too sure about his hat, but he had fun playing with Juliet.

Juliet showing me her teeth. She wouldn't smile and so I told her to show me her teeth.

Talking to her daddy on the phone. She'll come up too me holding the lock of hair that hangs over her ear out of the way so she can listen to the speaker.

My Mason man. Happy as can be because he has a spoon to play with.

Camping in the Rain

Friday Afternoon resting after we got all set up.
Finally showing a happy face. Reason: Her thumb got smashed in the door, but fortunately it wasn't very bad.

We put up the awning and were able to go outside for a short itme. Mostly because the kiddos were tired of being cooped up.

Definatley not my best picture, but that's okay.

April pictures

So I decided I might as well put up a few pictures of April. Mostly due to the facct that my kids are both still asleep. Mason defintely likes silky fabrics. I keep my baby blanket in the crib so he can snuggle with it.
We have gotten a dog. We figured that by getting a puppy we would help Juliet to overcome her fear of dogs and it has worked. He is pretty smart. We call him Spud. Kellen called him that one day and it stuck.

Mason's first time out on the grass. He was pretty determined to get Spud. I had to keep putting him back on the blanket

Juliet outside playing in the dirt. The picture doesn't show it too well but she has her shoes off and is in the process of filling one up with dirt so she can dump it on Spud.

My smiley little boy who really isn't all that little at all. He has cut his first tooth and three more are well on the way. He eats everything. I will feed him a mini bowl heaping with oatmeal then a baby food fruit cup and then he will drink an 8 oz. bottle on top of that. We are working on our house. Painting the kitchen cupboards, replacing hinges and handles. I got a dishwasher and Kellen had to make a cubby for it so I now have a dishwasher a broom closet and a big cupboard that I can literally stuff anything into. It is awesome.

A few pictures

These pictures load backwards time wise, but I guess that doesn't really matter all that much. These are from March. We aren't the best at taking pictures. I take them and Kellen won't unless I specifically ask him too, so I won't be in any, but enjoy. Mason trying to stand. He did actually pretty good for his first time. he has since gotten quite proficient at it.
My baby girl has turned two years old. Amazing how time flies when your having fun. She gives the terribles twos a good run for their money, but all and all she is a really good kid and talks like crazy.

I know this picture is sideways, but I think it is just too cute. Juliet is looking at Kellen's tool magazine. I had a hard time not laughing long enough to get the picture.

My munchkins playing together. Aren't they just cute!

The latest

I know I know I have not been a good blogger lately. I can't say that I really have done anything really worth writing about. It continues to be freezing temperatures here and I am so glad for our fireplace. Our electric heaters don't have to run so much when the is going. We spent Christmas at our home and then spent the day at Kellen's parent's house. I ate a lot of junk food and paid for it with my nursing baby having an upset tummy. We are back to trying to eat better and are not doing too bad. Both my kids are happy that we are staying at home and not off visiting everybody. They also take their naps a lot easier which is nice on the mommy. Kellen got to have a whole week off for Christmas break. Jet was so happy that he would be the one getting her out of bed. He mostly did it because I needed sleep because I would have to stay up half the night with Mason. That is going better as well. We are continuing to get things together to buy this house. And maybe one of these days it will happen. I lead the music in Sacrament Meeting and Kellen is in the young mens. I know this is short, but so is life and so I must get going to acomplish something today.

Going Crazy

So yesterday was way beyond crazy. Mason cried for three hours in the morning and had an extremely hard time going down for a nap. Jet kept taking off her diaper. Luckily she wasn't wetting all over. She learned her lesson last time with pooping out of the diaper gets her into major trouble. So I called my wise sister and asked what are some options I could do. I chose to start duct taping on her diapers. She only needs it twice before her nap and when she goes to bed. the whole rest of the day there are no problems of that sort. Kellen didn't get home until right as I was getting ready to put Jet in bed. He felt bad that what he was doing took him so long because he knew that I needed a break fom the kids and he wasn't home to help me. He held Mason for me until it was time again for him to eat, which really helped to calm my poor nerves. He doesn't know what I suffer. wink wink Mason finally went to bed at about 10 pm and slept through the night. he sleeps through the night because he has found his thumb. Yes that is right I have a thumb-sucker and everyday I loose ground with the binki. He likes after a bottle, but other than that he has begun to prefer his thumb. I love the sleeping through the night except that I wake up early in the morning hurting from being so full. That kid eats a lot. I figured that he is eating between 4 to 6 oz. a feeding. No wonder he is huge right. Anyway that is all I goy right now. Today is Kellen's dad's birthday. Mom is having a little party tonight. Which also means that I do not have to cook dinner. Hurrah! Until next time. Oh and for those who don't know Kellen and I going to buy the house that we are in. Another Hurrah. I tey to get some pictures up sometime. mostly for before and after shots.

Mason's Blessing

Here is the most recent family picture we have. It was a wonderful sunny day which was nice because the weather man was predicting a lot of snow, but the storm went around us and we enjoyed a nice day. Soup and salad and lots of desserts were fed into our tummies and we enjoyed it. I wanted to thank those who brought stuff to help. We sure missed those who couldn't come. But we'll see youat Mom's for Thanksgiving.
